Tricky situation. Perhaps it's your girlfriend who needs to get them on your good side. I think, honestly, that time will make this better, not persuasion. Think about it, they just found out their baby girl had sex, their not going to be too thrilled about seeing you.. mental images and all... so give them time. If they still seem stand-offish.. well, tell them how much you love and respect their daughter, and that you hope your relationship with them will improve, because you and their daughter are serious, and it would be nice to have peace in the family.

Ouch. You might want to offer an apology for having offended them by not respecting their boundaries and wishes. You might want to reassure them that your intentions toward their daughter are very serious in an emotional way and not just physical in nature. You might want to offer to not continue a physical relationship with her until she is of legal age (if that is even possible). Before you say anything, you'd better look into the law in your state to see if you could be in trouble or not if they chose to press charges. If you could be, don't say anything because you would incriminate yourself (and go see an attorney). At this point you could still deny it if you had to.

ok i had this same situation(almost) except my parents found out before me & my bf told them. I would do a good thing by apologizing to her parents, not for everything just basically say "i am sorry for going behind your backs for what we were doing, but i love your daughter and i don't want to hurt her." (trust me my mother once said if my bf would have done that she would have still been a lil hurt from losing her "lil girl" but would have forgave him and me for what we had done.
P.S. Phycologically(my teacher told me this btw), when parents find out their daughter has lost her virginity it is the same in their minds as the boy who did that killed the "little girl" they once raised. because now they have been forced to face the fact that their daughter has grown up and become a women

Its to be expected , dude most parents of girls that age would like for their daughter to quote"wait until their ready" so their a bit shocked and you might be considered as a defiler or such in any case in the end all you gotta do is treat their daughter right and eventualy they will come around too.

Well, having never been in that situation, I can only say tread lightly, or you might get done with Statutory Rape, unless your State's law is different. Otherwise, I would be courteous to your girlfriend, and her parents, and, if you don't mind me asking, how did her parents act towards you before she told them?

Step up and be a man, you will just have to earn their trust again, and make sure your both using protection, for both of your sakes. Wait on the sex part, you have plenty of time to enjoy that aspect of your relationship. Please be considerate of your girlfriend and her parents, and yourself. You sure don't want to become a daddy too soon and I am sure neither one of your parents want to become grandparents right now. Concentrate on your school, get life going for yourselves, sex is a big, huge responsibility. Good luck!

Well if they wanted to they could call the cops and if they havent yet that means they still must like you cause shes underage. I would just let it cool down for a couple days and then try to talk to her dad or her mom. But i think that you should just let her parents calm down after this.

you can't your an 18 year old guy and that's their daughter now that they know your having sex they are assuming your using her. Best thing to do is try and explain that you really care about her (if you really do) and show them how much she means to you. Good luck!

Did you? 18 is too old for a 16 year old. Be careful if you didn't she could be setting you up. Rape, pregnancy by someone else.
