GOD gave us (humanity) everything we needed to obtain every answer we look into. And you sit comfortably somewhere due to prior human knowledge and say humanity CAN'T do anything hard?
WHO ARE YOU TO KNOCK GOD GIFT TO HUMANITY?
Were you shorted in any of GODs gifts? You short humanity so - for no reason, GOD gave us the brain power to make tools and we have. GOD provided different humans with the gifts to understand the math that GOD used to make the gravity, and how the EArth circles the sun - AND YOU SITTHERE AND ACCUSE GOD OF DOING SOMETHING WRONG?? GOD gave us the tools to keep food longer to feed the hungry, find cures and medical procedures for the sick and lame, all the biblical illness are gone BECAUSE OF GOD AND HUMANITY TOGETHER! Sheltering the homeless - we can live anywhere thanks to our knowledge (both poles, underwater, out in space) ALL THANKS TO GOD!
Clothes - humanity loves clothes. LAW - GOD PROVIDED - and your not happy. Humanity has good laws - just no backbone to enforce them.
The meek can walk protected from the bullies due to these laws.
What part of GOD helping us don't you like?
humans of any faith have a passion GIVEN BY GOD - to find answers and you can't see this. I'm sorry, but I thank GOD everyday we keep learning something. I'm actually trying to store stuff for the next dark age - because if enough humans like you then there will be a big bang and were back to waving frogs at each other. DO NOT BE SCARED OF KNOWLEDGE, it can not hurt humanity, KNOWLEDGE WILL ONLY BRING HUMANITY CLOSER TO GOD!!

i see a lot of people here who cannot accept the possibility of
God because they believe logic and science should be able to explain everything. but even the furthest development of human knowledge cannot explain everything. for instance: it is incomprehensible to us that time and space, by the limits of our understanding, both must and cannot have a beginning and an end.
moreover, human wisdom has its limits. i'm sure as we progress intellectually, we will be able to understand our physical universe more and more. but there will probably always be something we are wrong about. for example, 100 years ago doctors cut patients' veins open to drain the blood as a cure for many ailments. chances are, 100 years from now we will learn we didn't know it all.
finally, i do struggle because the answers aren't easy and tangible proof may always be elusive. but i figure, if all i do is count all the solid facts i have on things, and close my mind to unsolved mysteries, what else am i going to do with the rest of my life? everything we know for sure, was once just a theory. it takes some people to expand their realm of possibility in order for our society to keep advancing intellectually.

In science, philosophy and religious many people have chased ghosts of ideas and along the way discovered the unexpected.
If you are knocking the arogance of people from either sides of the discussion (claiming cetainties when there are none) then I agree.
If you are criticising the persuit of greater understanding by either camp simply because it is likely to be futile then I disagree.

You have it all wrong. I'm an atheist and I do think a religious person wastes a good part of their lives. But I don't try to disprove God, he never enters into my equation. I just accept that I do not know how it happened and may not ever know, and that doesn't bother me. What I don't do however is accept an answer just because it explains it. You are following the reason of early man that also thought rivers flooded and dried up based on the emotions of gods.

I don't think they have - they are too busy telling people there is no God. Like they even know. It's more like a feeling (desire) for there to not really be a god - because that's what they want. How could you deny that God exists when you look all around at the complexities of life - or better yet when God heals someone of an incurable disease. God loves us - and he gave his son for us - Jesus Christ.

We all have our own beliefs and should be aloud to voice them to others. What we should not do is treat the other person as if they are lower then we are because they do not believe the same way we do.

I think it takes more faith to believe in evolution than to believe in God. So whether an atheist wants to admit it or not... they have faith.
