Senior project?

Question

I'm thinking about doing my senior project on the travel industry, but it has to be persuasive and I'm not sure what to do that would be persuasive. We also have to do 10 hours of community service related to our project topic. Do you have any ideas what I could do my senior project on or what I could do for my community service?

You could try to look at the future of the travel industry in some way..
For example:
1. You could talk about how the travel industry will change with the aging of the baby boom. How will travel be different when there are so many 60+ year old tourists?

2.You could look at eco-tourism or how to make tourism work in a era with high oil prices.

3. You could look at how to make travel more worker-friendly, since many hotel and resort workers make minimum wage.

4. You could look at how to attract tourists from emerging economies in China and India to your local area.

Do a thesis on the efficiency of the transeport industry to .

1 Cater for the needs of the aged , and disabled .
cover topics such as availabilty of taxis available in a certain area .
eg . Your local CBD
Interview taxi companies , see how long a person has to wait for a specialised vehichle to cater for their services .

. Look into govenment funding , are their subsidies to cover extra expense to Taxi companies , to equip these vehichles .

3 , What penalities are added, to standard hire rates if any .

You could continue your thesis ,by covering the efficiency of Buses ,and Trains . Is there any room for improvement in these areas .

Your Hypothesis should Ask a question that you can build up to an out come from your research .
Plan what research you are going to conduct , what ifomation you hope to extract , and what conclusion could you possibly draw from the information you have gathered .

do ten hours with the aged or the disabled . maybe at a special devopment school .
Youcould even try to assist on a day where they are going out by public transport .

well, if you do your project on travel, a good community service project might be to collect all the banned stuff that people now have to leave in security and donate the usuable stuff to homeless shelters, or recycle or something. lots of it was lighters, but i have seen people have to give up money clips, for example, because it had a small file blade on it....and lately, brand new bottles of lotions, sunscreens, unopened waters and drinks...brand new makeup, stuff like that was being thrown away, though i guess people might be getting smarter about what they pack. good luck.
