Depending on where you live, some cities do not have fluoridated water available. Some people think that fluoride for your teeth is a bad thing, even though it's been proven it has a huge impact on oral health. Now some companies are coming out with bottled water that is fluoridated, it's especially important for the little ones teeth, there are some growing inside of their jaw, and they need to be tough and strong when they erupt, so systemic fluoride intake is needed, but in limited amounts, there can be toxicity from the fluoride(fluorosis) so be carefull not to over do it for the kiddie's!! You would be better off drinking tap water rather than bottled, think of fluoride as a vitamin for your teeth, it keeps them strong and also repairs areas that could be getting cavities. (if you catch them early enough) Good Luck!!

It really depends on where you live. I some areas contaminates and trace elements are high. You may get limestone depsits etc. If not there is no big deal. Water goes through several steps of purification. It also has Chlorine in it. Clorine can be ingested and thats whats in household bleach. You can actually use some types for washing veggies and for disinfecting HIV possitive blood spills in hospitals.

Well, some of you want your water crisp!... Since when was water supposed to be crisp? Bottled water is only worth it if it is mineral or spring water and IF you do have the money.

If not, I suggest you stay with tried and true tap water and if it makes you sleep better get a water filter and watch your own water drip. You can then add a drop of Chlorine if you so please. I have found the smell of chlorine to be the classic smell for fresh water. Whenever you see tap water look a bit whitish, thats the good stuff in it.

I'm glad you are drinking water

You are not supposed to eat tootpaste due to the flouride in it. The question is a little more complicated. Tap water has chlorine which kills bacteria but is bad for you. There are 2 types of bottled water. See this webpage to get the whole story on something so important. Also see page on healing to see what a health group uses. Two months ago I fasted and only consumed pure water (nothing in it) for 22 days so I want my water to be perfect.

Bottled water. Tap water contains chemicals that the city puts in it to kill bacteria. All cities will provide you with a report telling you what the chemicals are and what percentages are in the water for your area. Yes your teeth do need fluoride. There are better ways of getting it than through tap water.

Tap water is better than bottled also because the bottles start to wear away after time and you're pretty much drinking plastic particles.

If you have your tap water tested and find things that you don't like that can't be filtered out, you can actually buy fluoridated bottled water. Check with your municipality to verify that your public water supply is fluoridated. People just assume that all public water is fluoridated, but that's not true. Hardly any in New Jersey IS, for instance.

Tap water tends to be healthier because of the minerals added in. Super-purified tap water (ie. bottled water) is missing many minerals. Spring water is tricky and can go either way.

Oh god... NO NO NO

Flouride was originally put into the water by Hitler. This water is what he gave to the Jews. And we know how that ended up. Although the amount of flouride was EXCEEDINGLY higher, the point remains the same.

Get filtered water by reverse osmosis. DO NOT DRINK TAP WATER

Buy one of those cheap water coolers you usually see in Office Buildings, you can refil the water for cheap at Wal-Mart. THIS WATER IS YOUR BEST CHOICE

the faucet water right this is excellent. Bottled water is a waste of money, and that is totally undesirable for the atmosphere. All those plastic bottles. in case you pick greater valuable water, get something like a Britta reusable water bottle.
