The area around Ford is downtown Detroit... not a real good external environment if you know what I mean.

External environment? I don't know, well, I guess I would rather be driving the Ford. It would also be acceptable to be beside or behind the Ford. But, the least desirable external environment would be standing in front of a moving Ford, or worse, under a moving Ford. Hope this helps!

the external enviroment of Ford is whatever weather is outside the Ford vehicle at this time.. rather it be cold,raining, or baking heat.

But if you are talking in the other sense, it's one of the company will rebuild, there are worries but pretty much that Ford just needs to get the right mojo working again.
