Don't try to get her back. Believe it or not, family plays a very important role in a relationship. Family can also be very influential. If someone breaks up with you for their family, there really is no point in trying so hard to get her back. lf she want to be with you as much as you want to be with her, she'd be on yahoo answers asking the same question. First of all maybe it's the way you speak, because is you speak how you write that is a huge turnoff. Second if she wants to be just friends, then there's your answer, why push it if she doesn't want you, you will only push her farther away by trying to make it more, then you might lose a friend too.

I hate to break it to you but if she won't date you just because her family doesn't like you being white i don't think she deserves you at all you sound like a nice enough guy and there are plenty of fish in the sea so good luck with life and just go one day at a time!

If she wants to be friend instead of lover, then try to persuade her to be back with you with your heart. If she still doesn't agree, then you better respect her choice, whereas without any further pushing her. If you love her, you will assist her in anyway you can, instead of causing many unwanted difficulty.
