I rather have hope and faith in a living God, than no hope when my life is said and done.

Proud to be pathetic and any other derogatory name someone calls me because I am a Christian.

it might be as pathethic as the life of somebody who doesn't know the difference between a religious person and a spiritual person (and who keeps on labeling people who believe in an afterlife as "religious")

and it might also be as pathetic as the life of someone who is 100% convinced that there is no afterlife, even if that somebody cannot prove that there isn't an afterlife

How very sad that a person is an atheist, who looks forward to non existence.

Revelation 21:7 Anyone conquering will inherit these things, and I shall be his God and he will be my son. 8) But as for the cowards and those without faith and those who are disgusting in their filth and murderers and fornicators and those practicing spiritism and idolaters and all the liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulphur. This means the SECOND DEATH.

Praise Jehovah, the God of the Universe!!

Hail Jesus, the King of the Universe!!

Welcome his wife, the Queen of the Universe!!

I'm spiritual and non-religious. It is not pathetic to be in touch with the source of all life. Its curious that you feel you have the need to put down others for their beliefs/direct experiences. That I think is way more pathetic than being in touch with the depths of your existence.

Well I have to look forward to the afterlife, because I can't very well look BACK. It's called the AFTERlife because it comes AFTER you live. Therefore, logically, the only way to look at it is to look FORWARD.

Also, it's not like I spend every day saying, I can't wait to get to the Summerland. I know I'll be there some day, and that day is not for me to decide. So while I'm here, and not there, I'll take the journey called life.

Blessed be.

I don't consider myself to be religious, I am more spiritual. I have a great life, as a matter of fact. I will cross over when I die and my soul will live on. Like it or not, yours will too. See ya there.

really why is it so hard to believe that there is a god who loves you and created you for greatness ? and why not live forever? why be randomly put somewhere just to be told you have no reasom to live and no purpose to exist? man i would much rather have a purpose from a real god who cares for me and wants the best for my life!why is that pathetic? its not, its real you are just looking for an excuse to not follow him so that you dont have to have faith and you can trust in yourself and you dont have to trust anything else there is a god and he will show himself to you if you just cry out for him

also dont listen to any of those people jesus said to love your neighbor and sorry that aint love but i tell you what he loves you and want to see the best for your life

Actually it's possible to believe in an afterlife and not have a religion.

Hey, life is great. We live our lives just like you do every day. We fall in love, marry, raise families, get educations, play, and work. Is that pathetic?

Well said Centripet - this guy is an atheist and spends all this time in a section he hates, talking to people he hates. And he is not even learned enough to try and make a point--he just spews hatred. go figure
