A church is a people gathered together by God in His service. The goal of any church should be to praise God, lift Him up, serve Him, serve all mankind, and seek and save the lost. A church provides strength to it's members as they together grow in maturity and love for the Lord.

The most positive aspects of church that I hold in my own mind is the get together of people who want to focus on what's most important in their lives, to be reminded of compassion for each other, to sort out the past week's events and learn from them...to be among others that share similar ideas and feelings...to center themselves...to commune with others they can trust not to make fun of them...the list goes on...there are too many answers on this site that focus only on the negative aspects they see...how about a full perspective on something you witness?...not just the things you hate or disagree with?

The church is not just a building but the bride of Christ. It is also a place where we can receive the sacraments and the things that God has promised us. He has promised he will be there. I believe it!

Any place that I can worship god in the way that I choose to worship him. If that be at home or in a car or the local shopping center maybe I will go to the park. God is everywhere so there isn't anywhere that he isn't. So my answer is where ever I am.

1 Corinthians 3:16 Do you not know that YOU PEOPLE are God's temple, and that the spirit of God dwells in you? 17) If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for the temple of God is holy, which temple YOU PEOPLE ARE.

1Corinthians 6:15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I, then, take the members of the Christ away and make them members of a harlot? Never may that happen.

19) Do you not know that the body of you people is the temple of the holy spirit within you, which you have from god? Also, you do not belong to yourselves, for you were bought with a price. by all means, glorify God in the body of you people.

well in the bible it says we are the timple so we are the church ! yes i know blah blah blah but he said it we just gather in a biulding but like when he talks about the body as a whole you think he is talking about one church no he was talking about EVERY christain and how we need them all in order for it to operate correctly so church to me is me where god comes and talks to me !
