Some people think the symptoms of high blood pressure are:
Frequent headaches
Dizziness
And although you may feel these things, the truth is that most people with high blood pressure have no symptoms. That's why it is important to monitor your blood pressure regularly. If you know your blood pressure is too high, you can do something about it.
High blood pressure typically develops without signs or symptoms. And it affects nearly everyone eventually. If you don't have high blood pressure by age 55, you have a 90 percent chance of developing it at some point in your life, according to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute. Fortunately, high blood pressure can be easily detected. And once you know you have high blood pressure, you can work with your doctor to control it.

Hi, I am pregnant and have High Blood pressure for the last 6 years. There are certain tablets that can be taken whilst pregnant, and they are usually beta blockers. These do not affect the growing baby. Your GP or Gyneacoligist would recommend these to take. There are others that cannot be taken, these are specifically for High Blood pressure problems. I was on a cocktail of tablets and had to be taken off 1 set when I found out I was pregnant. Apparently some tablets stop the red blood cells going to the baby at the third trimester. There are tablets out there that are for pregnant women, even on the sheet that goes with the tablets would tell you who should take them. I would recommend you talk to your GP if you are worried as high blood pressure needs to be kept an eye on at any time. Best of luck to you. Hope all goes well.

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

Just go to Walgreens and use one of the free blood pressure checkers.
These are more likely signs of regular alchohol use than high blood pressure though.

I don't think there is anyway of finding out if you have high blood pressure without having it checked.

Red face is not necessarily indicative of high B.P. If someone can carefully observe , a hypertensive without anemia ot heart disease pulsates with every heart beat. While lying down or sleeping toes move with each pulse .

I am no doctor. I think that you should see one and have an EKG. Redness and sweating could indeed be sysmtoms from the heart. There are really no symptoms of HBP, but sometimes it causes headaches in certain people.
