Many of the askers are minors, and can not take the dog to the vet, and have uncaring parents.. Many are in countries that do not have vets in every town..some have been from Alaska, where vets can be 400 miles apart..Many love their dogs, but have no money..(there are services to give medical aid to people/children who have no money, but there is no state aid for pets)
For those that do not have any answers, the best procedure would be to just ignore the question, or offer a word of encouragement..
There ARE a few vet students and even ER vets, and other people knowledgeable in pet first aid, that come to this forum...So, often there IS on-line help..
We can not be the judges of other's situatons, but owe respect to all....especially our fellow pet lovers.
Don't judge, so that you won't be judged. (Matt 7:1)

Well, if it's a minor health issue or a behavioral problem, the people here can be very helpful. Sometimes you just need a nudge in the right direction, and the problem can be solved easily.
But if my animal were showing signs of allergic reaction, throwing up blood, acting lethargic, etc., this would be the LAST place I'd be. I'd be headed toward the 24 hour emergency vet service here in town with my dog, just as fast as I could get there.

My vet cuts my canines nails and that i bake her peanut butter cookies. in case you bread your Mail, wait, o.ok. your mail is spade, that's solid, so then your femail ought to be nudered, that's solid too nicely enable's see that ought to get you a cavakinglashappoopfullofbull, which you should then bread with a labradoodleweinerchi and that ought to get you extra money in keeping with puppy. in case you unquestionably knowledgeable those doggies, you should get around 80 5,000 in keeping with puppy, assuming you had the right papers. i'm undecided in the event that they may be considered a searching breed or if the class might then come decrease than the fullofpoopius classification, it relies upon on how many breads you upload to the mixture. you unquestionably desire a bread mentor once you recover from 10 breads going at one time. upload, No, bread mentors are placed at Barkeries, ur vet/vet tech can propose one for u. upload, particular, i might commerce peanut butter cookies for her doing the canines nails. She might provide me a wreck on the value of my photographs and that i might bake for her group each and every friday for a month. via fact of this i'm getting disillusioned while human beings say they are in a position to't locate the money for his or her vet costs. all people in a provider industry will commerce centers with you in case you merely ask. I have been given photographs as quickly as from a medical institution for a roll of stickers and peanut butter cookies. My hair cloth cabinet costs me a low priced and the rest I do for her in issues I print off my pc for her. I commerce with contractors, landscapers, fencing adult males, you call it. each and every now and additionally then you merely ought to ask human beings what you're able to do for them, the worst they are in a position to do is say no.

speaking for myself, i vet the dog first then ask for opinions to see if there are any people who had the same problem and find out what they did and what their outcome was to see if my vet was considering all the possibilities . as i know vets are just people too. not all knowing.

i am a pet owner too. i think some people ask because they try to save money. i think that's reasonable as long as the animal is not in a life or death or painful condition.
i think that if the animal is in a crisis situation, then like you, i believe a vet should be the first to be consulted.
