Mushroom Finishing )AKA "Finishing") Sauce:
ngredients
WATER, HEAVY WHIPPING CREAM (CREAM [MILK], NON FAT MILK SOLIDS, CARRAGEENAN, MONO AND DIGLYCERIDES, CELLULOSE GUM, AND POLYSORBATE 80), MUSHROOMS, ONION, MODIFIED CORN STARCH, SODIUM CASEINATE (MILK), SALT, HYDROLYZED CORN GLUTEN AND WHEAT GLUTEN, XANTHAN GUM, YEAST EXTRACT, SPICES, AND NATURAL FLAVORS.

Amount Per Serving : 1/4 cup
Calories: 70
Fat: 5 g
Cholesterol: 20 mg
Sodium: 240 mg
Carbohydrates: 3 g
Protein: 2 g

Mushroom Gravy for 50c or less!!!

1/4 CUP HEAVY WHIPPING CREAM
1 CUP THINLY SLICED MUSHROOMS
1/4 CUP FINELY CHOPPED ONION
1 TABLESPOONS CORN STARCH
1/2 TEASPOON ROSEMARY
1/2 TEASPOON THYME
1/2 TEASPOON GARLIC POWDER
1 TABLESPOON MSG (NATURAL FAVORING....LOL)

Mix all in a fairly large bowl and microwave on high for 2 mins at a time. Stir and return to microwave for a total of 8 minutes cooking time. Add milk or water as needed for desired consistency.

Yes, and they are bad! The only thing they're good for is making money for McCormick Inc. They have ingredients you can't pronounce, cheap stuff that isn't even good for you.

By using simple ingredients easily put together you can make your own sauces that are much better. They market this junk for inexperienced people that don't know any better and people that don't care. They are 'imitation' sauces for busy and lazy people.

In short they are a 'crock'!

I have tried one and I didn't like it. I prefer to make my own sauces or if I am in a hurry I like Heinz sauces.

Wish I could tell you exactly which one it was, but I tried one a few months back and I didn't like it. Had a bitter aftertaste.

no, i looked at them, too expensive, and the ones i read had too much sugar...most commercial sauces do.
