He brought so many of them into the Vatican before he was Pope that the Swiss Guard prohibited him from bringing in any more because they were making a mess.

Does knowing this affect your opinion of him?

I forgot to add this part:

Since he's not allowed to keep cats in the vatican he keeps several of them at his Villa. There are a few strays that sneak into the Vatican and he always takes the time to feed them.

What made you raise this issue now?
I don't respect Pope, but I respect the truth what he said.
Telling truth will create a lot of enemies.
This is a clear evidence.
Do you ever think about yourself when you hear bad about you?
If you don't have that nature, that is the problem within you.
