Ok well it is a bit embarassing to admit this but I know everyone else does it too so what the hell. So I was masturbating the other day and my dad walked in on me and kind of just sayed "Oh" and walked out quickly. The next morning he just acted like it never happened and I'm sure he found it as awkward as I did. I just went along with it because I wanted to act like it never happened too. But I still have noticed it's just a little stranger between us and I don't want it to be like that.
Should I talk to him about it? I really don't want to because it would be so awkward but I don't want it to be so weird between us. I'm not sure how to go about approaching him about it or what to say. Please help and give your opinion, I would really appreciate it.

just tell him, "look, i'm sorry you saw what you seen" and then at least you know it's cleared from your conscience! there's REALLY nothing else you can do! i mean, he's done it. it's a scientific fact, everyone has masturbated at least ONCE in their life. that, or LOCK THE DOOR next time, lol

...that's just it. "Everyone else is doing it"..(at least many have tried it) including probably your father when he was about your age. He's probably as embarrassed as you are. The question is as to whether or not he has talked to you about what is commonly referred to as "the birds and the bees" If he HAS then surely he could not have forgotten to mention what you were doing. If he Hasn't then perhaps it is it time he DOES.
In fact, maybe he hadn't realized that you were familiar with this and is trying to figure a way to approach you about it.
But never fear. What you did is not wrong. As with other issues, it is just one of many things we are curious about.
Do you perhaps have a close trusted family member? like an uncle or older cousin? an older brother? a close family friend who is an older male? If so, if you are still uncomfortable with approaching your dad, try talking to them about it first. Then make a decision.

Well it is a perfectly normal thing for a growing kid to do, Mate and your father nows it. So stop worrying too much about it and go on with your life!
However, if you want to get it over with, why not write him a note of apology? Tell him you are sorry that he saw what you did and that in future you will be more discrete! Then you can sleep peacefully after that.

Your father is embarrassed, too,. Don't bring it up. It was normal and he knows that. He did it himself before he was married, probably. What he saw just confirms that you are growing up, and that is what is making it weird between you. It's hard to know your kids are growing up. This will pass. Let it be.

I'm going to bet your dad did and probably still does the same thing. I would just act normal and if he brings it up fine, but I'm betting he won't. Don't worry about it.
