They use this as an excuse to continue to live in whatever sinful lifestyle they want unrepentantly because they think that all they have to do is believe that Jesus is who he is and that that alone is what will save them. Bullsh*t.

This makes Christians look bad to non-Christians.

Plus nowhere in the bible does it say that we only need "faith alone".

In fact the only place in the bible that the words "faith alone" are, the words "not by" are right in front of it.

Here is proof:

"You see that a man is justified by works and NOT BY faith alone." (Emphasis added) -James 2:24

Faith plus Works. This is what is in the bible and what Christians have historically known is true.

God's not going to save you from Hell because some Christians made God look bad to you. It's up to you to investigate it.
They have to answer to God. I'm on a spiritual journey and when I was a brand new baby Christian I made many mistakes that made me look like a "bad" Christian. I'm aware of it now, but I was just learning. You don't come to a faith in Jesus Christ and know everything right away.

...Whether or not it makes "Christians look bad to non-Christians" is immaterial - the question is, is it doctrinally correct?
...I strongly urge you read the whole Bible - you are making doctrine from one passage, and there are several others you should consider - I believe your interpretation is incorrect. The James passage shows that truth faith is not alone, that good works are the natural result of true faith.
...Have you considered Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast.
...Isaiah 64:6 says, "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags, and we all do fade as a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away."
...If you want to trust in your performance, that is your privilege - you are making a serious mistake - I will trust in Jesus's finished work on the cross and His resurrection. He said in John "It is finished" - this was a common marketplace term meaning, "paid in full" and "the debt is paid." He completed everything necessary for our salvation.
...Galations 2:16 "nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified."
...Romans 3:28 "since by the works of the Law shall no flesh be justified."
Keep reading the entire Bible - Jesus provides a complete salvation.
...Wishing you a blessed eternity.

I think the point is that true faith will naturally result in the accompanying "works", while false faith won't. If you truly believe all of the statements and promises in the Bible, then you will do what is necessary to achieve those rewards and to please God. People who think that faith is ok without works are ignoring a large portion of the Bible that says that works are necessary. But again, the point isn't works vs. faith, it is that true faith will produce good works. Good works without faith will not save anyone, and a false faith without works also will not benefit anyone. But if one has true faith, the good works will naturally follow.

True faith alone is indeed enough to save people, but the Christian is also expected to live a life of good works once he has become a Christian. Good works do not cause anyone to be "born again", however, so they play no role in salvation.

You are correct, Faith alone does nothing. We are saved by Grace through faith. Because like Faith alone, Works alone will not get you to Heaven. Our works show others our Faith in the Word of God.

Because some Christians are wrong. Yeah, we have to have faith, but we are supposed to have works too. Some people call themselves Christians just because they attend a church, teach Sunday school, or work for some charity. Works alone is not what God asks of us. We need to have both faith and works.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

You are correct it is not about faith alone "I been saved" nonsense. To be saved is one thing but you have to walk the walk, live the life. To repent is to turn from your old ways. That is what makes a real Christian. Thanks to God that there are so many who want to be. They just need to be guided in the correct path as to what it really means.

Satan knows and believes the Bible to be true; BUT, Satan does NOT have FAITH, that is where the difference is. Satan believes, but trembles because he knows the Bible to be true and his time on earth is numbered and he will DIE IN THE END,
THE END.

All Christians are sin full. Thats being human. The thing that we/ I try is to change how I live today. To give up my old life style and imitate Christ. I will never be perfect but I continue to improve. And yes we are supposed to set examples being Christians for others to see. Just remember we all have bad days.
God bless!

We are saved by grace, but only after all they can do. And what is 'all we can do'? It includes repentance and baptism, keeping the commandments, and enduring to the end."

We are not saved in our sins, but saved from our sins by repentance and a cleansing through the grace of God.
