Your dogs have already mated and will produce a litter of pups unless one of them is sterile. The standards of AKC is the male should be 8 months and not more than 12 years. The akc standard females is 8 months but they prefer you wait a minimum of a year. Breeders prefer 18 months to two years. It won't do you any good to separate them now if she has ovulated. If they have been together several times I can assure you that has already occurred. If your goal was to have a litter then congratulations and if not you need to talk to your vet. Hope this helps. Ive been breeding for 25 years. Bangs head. What ARE you conversing about!!! If a b itch is in season, and certain, she might want to nicely be by employing 8 months of age, and on the right element in her season (which lasts for 21+ days) and is with an entire doable male, she will be in a position to mate and likely develop into pregnant. yet this does not prefer to ensue. and may not, at in basic terms 8 months. i will't say extra except to assert IF this has exceeded off, she needs a right away e-spay (it really is EMERGENCY spay) so this puppy would not ought to bypass by a being pregnant and rearing muddle even as she continues to be a puppy herself. Shudder.

Usually it's best to wait for the female to go into her second heat cycle. If you breed in the first cycle it's going to be like a puppy having puppies. If she is two, she should be old enough.
