we have a 8 month old shihtzu and a almost 2 yr old shihtzu/ lhaso apso, and they have gotten stuck together a few times in the last couple of days,,, we have seperated them cause we heard they are too young<<< any advice????

I read the other responses, and while I agree with the first responder. I feel shamed that she would talk to you in such a manner. People are not born knowing information about breeding and prevention.
Your female is too young (if the female is the 8 month old) to be having puppies, but if they were tied a couple of times, SHE IS PREGNANT. If the female is the 2 yr old it will not be as bad on her body.
To late to worry about separating them now.
At her age, it is like a 11 year old human having a baby, it can be done, but the body is not ready to take on the responsibility of caring for several other bodies that are being developed inside her.
This is a problem you will be facing every 6 to 8 months, if you do not want litters that often, the only thing that can be done is to have one or both "fixed"
It is unfortunate you were not aware of the problem with having a male and female together all the time. There will always be babies.
Hopefully you will find loving homes for all the babies and the puppies will never have to suffer due to the lack of knowledge of their human care givers.

I have the dogs unentered? They got stuck and you pulled them apart? You don't think they aren't old enogh? You are really dullard aren't you! (Dullared means stupid)
Go the animal shelter and look at all the homeless dogs!!! I have been offered 2 different grown Shitzus in the last two weeks who are in need of homes both have been abused!! I already have one!!!
Well when your dogs have their pups you know this as a certainty, at least half of those adorable little pups you find homes for will be abused and or thrown away!!! Their little bodies beaten and mangled, staved for decient food, love or affection!
it is easy to tell from the way you phrased your questoin that you are none to bright. Just understand what you are really doing, making more homeless, abused, mistreated and thrown away dogs!!

the 8 month old is too young she should have 2 heats before breeding. and you NEVER pull them apart if anything you make sure there safe and don't run apart.
if they have done it a "few times" then your going to have puppies.
