I am happy just hanging out by myself,I almost never go out with my friends, I don't party. I don't drink or do drugs and most of the people I know do one or the other, and I find it borning being around them. I am happy with just me and my cats.

What you have going could be bottled and sold. There are millions of people in the world who stress their children / fall out with their friends and have fights with their partners, all because they have a low self-esteem. (basically they do not like their own company) . You are one health, happy, cool person. Nice to meet you! You would make a great partner both in business or in a relationship...

You sound very well adjusted. If you don't have friends that are good for you, don't bother with any. In time you may feel like you need to socialize but enjoy this time getting to know yourself. You should keep out of trouble that way. Shouldn't you? Cats are great company! Very amusing and comforting when needed. Really special creatures. We have 4, and 3 dogs and a parrot. Don't bother with a parrot. They can be mean. But the dogs are wonderful too. Take care.

Yes it is OK. But have you ever wanted to find yourself a partner.

By the way tell you some jokes:

-Doctor! I have a serious problem, I can never remember what i just said.
-When did you first notice this problem?
-What problem?

One more joke:

A guy calls his vet and says "What should I do with my cat?Vet says "What do you mean? Guy says "I had a leak in my lawnmowers gas tank and the cat drank the gas. Then the cat began to run around and around the yard, climbed a tree. then fell out of the tree stiff. Vet says "Is the cat dead? Guy replies "nope he ran out of gas.

Last of all just want to tell you that whatever you do, just don't give up. Also you must love and care for the people around you. In that way they will also show you the love that you show to them. Just be yourself and happy everyday. Wish you all the best and good luck!!

Yes, being introverted is natural for some people. But, you need human connection, too. You don't have to party or do drugs, just meet a good friend for coffee and a chat.

Yes, we all need down time to do things we want to do . . . as long as you interact with people at other times when you go out I would say it is normal.

And there is nothing wrong with preferring to be with your cats than going out partying with your "friends" who are drinking and doing drugs.

When you do want to go out, maybe you could check out some of the people who are interested in cats like you are . . . find some common ground with those who do not drink or do drugs.

The only people who will tell you that something is wrong with you, are the people who cannot stand to be alone. You are well-adjusted. Sounds like you haven't found interesting people to be around. I prefer a good book and good music to being with boring people. But I appreciate my really good friends, too. Just don't want to be with them all of the time.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to be alone. My pets are the best company.

If it is just because your friends bore you...definitely time to find some new friends! I am a loner, I prefer to be alone. People are complicated and are more trouble then they are usually worth...I am happy to be by myself in cycles...sometimes it is nice to go out and interact though...do whatever makes you happiest...

Some people are fine being on their own. I heard about one guy that spent the last 30 years of his life up in Alaska living all by himself. He was about 50 when he retired and decided he wanted this kind of isolation.

Absolutely! Everytiime my bf goes out of town I am SO happy to have my own space without him. It's nice when he comes home but honestly, I'd love to just live alone again and have him visit once in a while.

A good many people never learn to be or are content with being by themselves. I enjoy it also. The only reason I am alone is b/c I choose to be alone. Besides the voices in my head keep me good company. Psych. Just kidding. Peace.
