No, but anyone can SAY I love you. The true test is showing it in your actions of selflessness. If you say you love someone, then leave a mess everywhere, don't help around the house, don't take the trash out, don't help with the kids, sit around and watch tv while she is running around cleaning and chasing kids, if you don't have a clue about anything to do with your child's schooling, the bills etc. If you're selfish and want things for yourself all the time....but then when you want something, you say "I love you", ....that's not gonna do any good or make her feel you love her!!ACTIONS!!! Oh, and flowers and back rubs help too!!!

Nope i do not think as a society we say it enough to ourselves, other people, our family, our children, our parents and do not say enough to God. This world has gone to hell in a hand basket and we are the cause of it. Everyone should take the time to say I love you more often because it sure makes my day.

Yes, if it is used too often, isn't sincerely meant or is said in any part of an apology. There are so many ways to say "I love you" that it should never get old.

Only if it's said so often or in such a way that she starts to think he doesn't mean it. And if it's only said when the guy is apologizing for something.
