my friend had a recipe where she mixed mayonnaise, apricot jam and some ketchup and put it in a baking dish with chicken and baked it. you would think it would be revolting, but it was really great!
she served it for dinner the first time she had her fiance's best friends over for dinner and i begged her not to tell them what was in it because it is so gross. but they loved the dish and asked her over and over till she told them. they practically dropped their forks. i doubt any of those people ever made that chicken. i know i never did, despite the fact that i enjoyed it.

Well, not really "bizarre" like, say, battered and fried goat turds or some such, but I was watching a Food Network episode not too long ago, George Duran and his "Ham on the Street" show I believe, and the guy did roasted Brussel Sprouts with Balsamic vinegar and pine nuts. It looked really good, so I tried it, and it was actually fantastic.

I could never be a vegetarian... Why? Because I don't like vegetables, duh. But this Brussel Sprouts dish that he did was actually GOOD!!

Good night, and good luck.

It sounds gross even thinking about it, but it's the bbq type sauce that you marinate/cook little smokies in. Mix ketchup and grape jelly in either a sauce pan on the stove or let cook in a crock pot. The jelly melts and when it mixes with the ketchup is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good!!

Some of those Tofu burger recipes you see online are pretty scary looking if you look at the recipe. LOL Once you make them up they are pretty good tho.

Paula Deen made these mini snack sandwiches.
White bread flattened with crust cut off.
Spread both sides with cream cheese.
Place one pickled okra on bread and roll up.
Then roll outside in chopped fresh parsley.

I liked all the ingredients separately so I gave it a chance. Oh...my...goodness...
It was so good I couldn't stop slobbering...
sounds funky though, doesn't it?

I make this desert called a flower pot cake. You use crushed oreo's and coolwhip with cream cheese. You put it in a clay pot lined in foil and buy silk flowers and gummy worms. I made it for xmas one year for a few parties it was always a big hit. Taste great too! At xmas I used poinsettias.

Mine is actually a dip. Mix cottage cheese with salsa, but it's only good if the salsa is good. Try it you might just be suprised.
