If it your own blood its ok. You will only notice that your stools will be black because blood turns black in the stomach because of the iron in it. If the blood is not your own, you may get HIV, hepatitis and or various other diseases found in blood.

Blood, as such, is a nutritious food. Have you never heard of blood sausage? Although I don't find it palatable, probably due to conditioing. Many cultures use it in soups, etc. It does not go back into your veins intact, as all the components are digested and absorbed and utilized as any other food would. Uncooked blood, though acts as a strong laxative.

There are a few relatively rare disease states such as hemachromatosis in which this would not be a good idea, though. Chances are you don't have those.

It is full of nutrients. Animal blood is eaten throughout the world and not to be wasted.

Drinking your own blood is great.

Here are some links to recipes, just substitute your blood for the animal blood.

drinking your own blood? weird! if you drink enough eventually you will get anaemic collapse and die, it will take a while cos blood is a good source of iron (required to make more blood). Best not to drink it I think.
