Some parents do. They probably didn't have good parents to have as role models or they have emotional problems or maybe on drugs or drink too much! They also may be telling you like it is in the real world so you can be prepared. It is hard to say what it really is without more information! Best wishes!

no doubt those lil buggers can drive most people to do most anything just for some peace. not me cuz i'm a pro but people come to me frazled beyond what they thought was possible.. If you are near that point I sugest you pick up a copy of STEP a manual on child rearing that really works. Here is a tip. If your child is annoying you, it is becuz they want more attention and if they do not get it then that is when things start getting ugly.

I think thats a bit of an extreem generalization. In general, I would say that parents these days do not enforce their authority enough.

considering how over-crowded the prisons and jails area lot of parents are way too lenient! More parents need to be more strict with their children and teach them morals and compassion instead of having them whore around when they are 11 or 12 years-old or breaking the law.

Parents should guide thier kids to grow up to be caring mature adults... problem with parents is all they do is scream and use thier kids as slaves... and it's gonna keep getting worse.

certainly some do...most don't...and way too many aren't authoritative enough. you aren't doing your kids any favors to spoil them. if they can get away with everything at home, how are they going to learn self-discipline and responsibility? they aren't born knowing it, or everything wouldn't go in their noses and mouths when they are babies, right?
