Why would you feel the need to ask others this question if you know in your heart your not a racist? How many people call you a racist a day? There are alota people who are accused of being racist, but they don't go around trying to prove to others that they aren't a racist.
I don't know you, but you MIGHT be a racist. It seems you MIGHT have a problem with Mexicans. Illegal immigration isn't just about Mexicans. Your question seems like its just attributing illegal immigration to Mexicans. Its almost as if this is what your REALLY asking "Why is it that if I'm against Mexicans I'm automatically branded a racist pig"? If you had left out the part about speaking Spanish then I would have assumed you had a problem with all illegal immigrants whether their from Germany, Ireland, Japan, Cuba or any other country outside of our own.
Calling the people in the marches a pile of crap is also pretty harsh. Do you call every person that disagrees with you a complete pile of crap? Probably not.

Because 1) They're idiots 2) They don't know that the word racism means since by saying that they prove they are the ultimate racist, demon worshippers 3) They have no REAL argument so they yell racism and since American society has become so PC we would gladly let someone set our house on fire before we have someone call us racist.
Here is the main point that pro-illegals cannot stand against in reality so they throw mud like racism out there to confuse the issue since they despise goodness, decency and law. America is not asking if it is against immigration....we like immigration, it's a good thing...it is ILLEGAL (look the word up..it means against the law) that we oppose as both a sociological and national security issue...unless you are PRO-terrorist attacks on the USA..in fact maybe that is true..maybe pro-illegals want America to be attacked..would explain a lot.
To all those yelling about "stolen" land..go invent a time machine and go back to that time then since it happened all over globe for thousands of years..your ancestors stole it from someone else and we stole it from you..tough..stop huddling in the dark corner pissing&moaning about how you were so wronged 600 years ago because it makes you looks stupid, weak, silly, and like you need some type of medication. It was way before you were born, everyone did it even your great ancestors, get over it.
And as for the "oh if you were here b4 1492 then you're ok" that is such a load of crap and shows a real inability to think..seems you can only parrot stupid comments applied wrongly. I was born in USA so it is my home if you want to say I am racist since my ancestors were not orginally from USA then I can say the same exact thing to you...both latino and native americans immigrated from somewhere else so that makes you just as racist.

They call you a "racist" in hopes that you will back down and be quiet instead of pointing out that illegal immigrants are breaking our laws and should be deported simply on the criminal guidelines alone.
It is the only argument that the people that are "pro illegals" have, well, other than the entire "whites were all illegal immigrants" and "this country is built on immigrants". All are not valid, and since they can not come up with a valid argument against the criminal aspect of illegal immigration, they decide to call anti illegals racists. Good argumentative strategy, isn't it???

Racism has evolved into a double edged sword - a lot of it due to illegal infiltration of other minority groups. The government represents the corporations, and visa versa, and it is big business to bring people into this country that will work for lesser wages in laborious jobs. As a consequence the legal American has become the minority in our society and highly discriminated against.

I don't think whites are the only group of people who are anti-illegal immigrants/immigration. What does your race have to do with being anti-illegal immigrants? I know many people from other races and even other countries who are also against this. You don't need to apologize for anything, but I think it's unfair to the illegal immigrants for others to criticize them, because regardless of the fact that many people were born in the U.S. and now they consider themselves American, they aren't the true owners of this land. Everybody was an illegal immigrant at one point. I think whoever is already here should be granted the chance to be able to stay here legally and get all the papers they need. What the U.S. government has to do is to prevent future illegal immigration. From my perception it's just not fair to kick out all the illegal immigrants who have contributed to this country's economy and so much more just like you and me.

there is not something inherently racist about being hostile to unlawful immigration. contained in the U. S., unlawful immigration in a lot of circumstances refers to unlawful Mexican immigration and there are quite some racists obtainable who whinge about the difficulty and in doing so make racist slurs.attempt to make positive that once you communicate the difficulty, take care to be logical an affected individual. i imagine maximum folk will comprehend that unlawful immigration is risky for the country even as offered with a nicely-theory-out argument. there'll consistently be those who will pull the race card because they have something to attain politically. it really is why you spot a sturdy type of human beings making headlines contained in the archives.

So, let's have the border fence finished, the ICE on the job, fines and penalties against employers of illegal aliens, and city ordinances that address people living in our towns illegally too.
The sooner people can't enter our country illegally anymore, the better off we'll be.

It is ridiculous, god forbid you have an opinion, they just get mad because you do not agree with them, they should go and march in their own country to fix it instead of coming to ours and changing ours. Honestly, who cares about their opinions anyway, they are the law breakers by being here in the first place.

"We call things racism just to get attention. We reduce complicated problems to racism, not because it is racism, but because it works." - Alfredo Gutierrez, political consultant, as quoted by Richard de Uriarte, The Phoenix Gazette, March 14, 1992 (quoted in The ProEnglish Advocate, 1st quarter, 2002)
