11) influences world leaders because of her religious power,
12) sits on seven mountains or hills.

The Muslims are up in arms because they say they don't demand people convert or they will be murdered. But, on the contrary, they say that the infidels (any non-Muslim) must convert or die. Then because they didn't get their apology they go and firebomb churches? Sounds like a bunch of teenagers throwing a fit because they didn't get what they wanted for Christmas! If I was the Pope I wouldn't apologize. Has any Muslim group apologized to us for 911?

VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - Al Qaeda militants in Iraq vowed war on "worshippers of the cross" and protesters burned a papal effigy on Monday over Pope Benedict's comments on Islam, while Western churchmen and statesmen tried to calm passions.

The statement by an umbrella group led by Iraq's branch of al Qaeda came after the Pontiff said on Sunday he was deeply sorry Muslims had been offended by his use of a medieval quotation on Islam and holy war.

"We tell the worshipper of the cross (the Pope) that you and the West will be defeated, as is the case in Iraq, Afghanistan, Chechnya," said a Web statement by the Mujahideen Shura Council.

"We shall break the cross and spill the wine ... God will (help) Muslims to conquer Rome ... (May) God enable us to slit their throats, and make their money and descendants the bounty of the mujahideen," said the statement, posted on Sunday on an Internet site often used by al Qaeda and other militant groups.

That's not what he was trying to say. He's just against violence in the name of religion. On that note, elimination an entire religion is most likely going to result in maybe just a little bit of violence...so I don't think he was really going there with it either.

hehe but seriously.. first off if you're atheist.. i personally believe you're living in self-denial.. you can't truly deny the existence of God.. you're lying to yourself, but hey that's just my opinion.. you're free to do w/e the heck you feel..
second.. islam's been around for a loong time and it will be here till the end inshAllah.. if you really think its terrible i suggest maybe reading *gasp* up on it and seeing that is only the actions of a select few that's at timing distorting its image..
