I am 17, and my friends say i dont look ugly. I think i have a pretty good personality. THe thing is i dont get the guys. Sometimes, i screw things up myself by doing something silly when i see a guy i like. Or, i tend to be crazy and bullshitted when some guy just wanna be serious, and ask if im single. i will have some stupid answer like im double.
I tend to make closer friends wth people online,and from people far away from me. It is weird. Can anyone tell me if i am weird? or whats wrong with me

Sounds like you are afraid of getting hurt. Those kind of jokes can be taken by guys as a brush off unless you have a geniune smile and look them in the eyes so that they know you are including them in your joke. Eye contact is important in meeting anyone. If they look at you and can tell that you are joking then they will take the time to discover your "good" personality. Otherwise they may head for the otherside of the planet. People far away are safer than someone upclose and face to face. You are safe behind the walls of the internet and telephone. When face to face you can't get away from a mistake. If you handle your public blunders with grace and humor others will gravitate to you naturally. People like being around other people that are having fun and are fun to be with. Laughter is contagious. Laugh with others not at them. Make your social errors yours and don't be afraid to laugh at yourself.

First of all, exhale!!! You are not weird. You are only nervous. You can't deal with the opposite sex face to face. Your nerves are a wreck when talking to men so do me a huge favor. When a guy approach you and ask a question, stop and think about the answer before actually answering. There's nothing wrong with fiddling with your hands if it calms your nerves. Just don't say anything to make him think you're coo coo.When you describe yourself never use the words aI think. Use words like "I know I am a good person." It helps build your self esteem. Yours is a little bit low. It is a major part of bad nerves. Low self esteem is brought on by fear of rejection. You have to learn to be comfortable in your own skin.

Well you are a teenager. You still have plenty of time to find a guy. trying to get into an early serious relationship its not going to last. live up your life while you dont have bills to pay. having friends isnt always a bad thing, friends keep you sane. Who cares if guys ask if you are single and you say you are double. Its a good line to keep the bad ones away, the good ones will laugh and keep the conversation going.

I think maybe it sounds like that you try to hard in person lets face it on the computer it may feel safe to be yourself for these people really don't know you so next time a guy flirts with you take a deep breath and ask yourself what would I say to this guy had he be online maybe that way it will help you out just remember to always be yourself rather its online or in person someday someone will laugh back at your jokes I am a dork too at times in person when I like someone or someone likes me but I found out when I am Me people usually respond better good luck to you

Ur absolutely NOT weird!!! these are normal traits of a teen girl are, hell, a person n general. and as much as u don't wanna hear it, ur just a kid, don't try so hard and don't sweat the small stuff. just b urself and let things come natural. u seem to acknowledge what appears to b ur faults, in ur opinion, anyway. so them being recognized, now accept urself the way u are and either fix what u seem to believe is wrong or wait for someone who can appreciate u just the way u are! good luck!!!

Not weird at all, I'm exactly the same way as you, it's easier to talk to someone when you aren't actually talking, hope that makes as much sense as it does in my mind.

I think you're fine. Just be yourself. in new boy situations don't try to be funny. Just be who you are. besides the guy u want to be with is going to like u even if you do say dumb stuff like that. You're fine you're not weird.
