Before asking her out find out through friends or even her if she likes someone else if she does not ask her if you two can go out and if not let her know that you two can continue to be friends

Umm it would depend on whether you thought she liked you back, but if you want to ask her out, just tell her that you think she's really fun to be around and that you like her a lot. Remember: girls love sincere compliments!

yes you should ask her out... if you really like her. you know what they say nothing ventured nothing gained. but you must be prepared and willing to not have that same friendship you had before since you are feeling something for her but it is worth a try... what if she likes you too? ever though about that? say how you feel about her and why you are attracted to her... so go for it... if you really want to. but if she rejects you... try and ask her to mantain that friendship... the friendly not intimate one...
