The rapture is an event that will take place "in the twinkling of an eye", all born again believers in Christ will be taken off the earth to meet the Lord in the clouds. Perhaps you're referring to the tribulation period? No, I don't think it's begun. I belive the rapture is what starts the clock on the seven year tribulation.

Yup. About 98 percent of all of humanity fall into that latter category, and it has been the case the past 13,000 years. I highly recommend a good book: The Bible, Authorized King James Version. Another good book: Time Has An End. But no, the rapture has not begun. The Bible says it will take place all at once, "in the twinkling of an eye," at the last trumpet. The date this occurs is the final day of the history of the earth -- Judgment Day. It's pretty close, but as far as I know it's not today, so it hasn't begun yet. Getting back to basics is always a good idea in order to clear up confusion-- the rapture is such a fascination with people because the Bible mentions it. Go to the source and re-read it; it will clear up myths. Another great source: the FM radio ministry of Family Radio. If you are as fortunate as I am, they have a station in your city.

I would like to have you go to the bible and find where Jesus says anything about the rapture? Where there is a description of the rapture that is clear?.Jesus did not conceal his message. It is right there. Why do you believe that something as important as the rapture is concealed and can only be found in the late 1800 by men who used it to con and rob a mass of believers. The bible says that there will be a second coming but that the son of man will come as a thief in the night so be ever vigilant. No one knows the date or time of the final day. In all his recorded teaching Jesus never talked about the rapture. As far as I can see you do not have to twist or spin events to fit what the bible says. If you believe the bible you will know that the the anti-Christ when he arises will be evident and you won't have to investigate to know who he is. Just as an aside any religion that you have to pay for, anytime that the tell you to kneel, pray and pay is a good religion to leave. The original preachers of the rapture took whole towns for all they had so I guess since we're down to congregations the race as a whole is getting smarter.
All in all belief in the rapture is evidence of a rupture from reality.

You're mistaking the Rapture for the Great Tribulation period.and no it hasn't started and won't start until the Church is "Caught up "(that is the Rapture)to be with the Lord...then the "man of sin" will be revealed.Read I and II Thessalonians, that will help and then read Matthew 24 and remember Mat.24 is refering to the Jewish nation not Christians.Hon, if I'm still here ,it ain't happened yet.Adios muchacha.PS it won't be the Devil's son, that's sci-fi .He will be a world leader who almost magically brings peace to the world...everyone thinks he's grest then after 3 1/2 yrs he shows his true colors, and all Hell breaks loose. After another 3 1/2 yrs,Jesus returns (With us) and this time He touches down and with the words of his mouth...wipes out all the enemy. We just watch,He does it all.

I know what you mean but it is not called the rapture...the rapture will happen in the blink of an eye and God's children will be taken from this earth as fast as lightning. what your talkning about is the final holy war which I have also asked around about. I feel it has begun....prophecy in revelations is coming true everyday....the whole world is polarizing Christians against non-Christians....it is the setup for end times.....I think it happening

the rapture is something maufactured , but blaming it on protestant extremeists is stupid. A fanatic perhaps but not a protestant. Revelations talks of the end times , not the end of time as some believe, and it does make reference to a new peace and time of unity. I have never read of a time when the christians will magically disappear. In modern terms i bet it means that christians will go into hiding to protect their beleifs because to belieive will become unpopular. much like smoking. The pressure in the world for everyone to conform is now greater than ever......what a shame.

If you didn't pray and seek for Christ, you would not meet Him to enjoy rapture, as people did at His first advent.
In the beginning, many have been called but few would be chosen.
The world was dark with people who turned against the Sun; while people who have found the Messiah, saw sunshine everywhere.
Seek and you will find; don't miss your opportunity.

The rapture will happen all at once, and it will only take the twinkling of an eye from start to finish.

The rapture isnt an ongoing thing. It will happen in a blink of an eye. The 7 years of tribulation will start either right before or right after the rapture. True christians wont be here anymore, it will be peoples last chance to save themselves from eternal damnation.
