Trust me, there are plenty of illegals in this country, and not all of them crawled over the border. Some came on planes with fake student visas, and then just seemed to disappear into the system, undetected.

I try not to generalize and it pisses me off when other people do it. I don't judge on appearance because I know what it feels like. If I don't like somebody it's because of how they've treated me or others around me, and I've observed that.

You are correct; there are a lot of illegals from all countries here, but probably more Latinos than others. I believe the reason people feel they are the only ones is because the number (highest percentage) and the issue they made about their rights. Not many other nationalities, legal or other wise, make such unreasonable demands; if they are here illegally they should keep quite. I personally think the illegals (any nationality) are an embarrassment to those who have come here legally and abide by the laws.

You're right, the problem is way bigger than most people conceptualize, and it's far from being just about 'the mexicans'.
The world population has grown by 5.5 billion in the last 100 years. There's literally BILLIONS of people that'd love to move to the United States in a hot second, 'cause their home countries are dirt-poor.

I think overall, well-structured international foreign aid, with good disinterested-3rd party oversight would be a lot more effective and likely much less expensive than dealing with the consequences of poorly performed border control policy.

You should know better you are not new to this site. I learned the first day I came on here that Latinos are 85% of the illegal population. It's not a stereotype. It's a fact!

Something I've noticed:
Pro-illegals always make the argument that "Not all illegals are from Latino countries", yet they always accuse anti-illegals of being "Racist against Mexicans", "Racist against Latinos", etc. and say that that "We are letting our prejudices against Latinos cloud our vision". It's hypocrisy!

However:
Most illegals are either Mexican or come across the border after passing through Mexico. Admitting this, though, would confirm the large-scale invasion of foreign people from the same country.

P.S. @ Miguel C-
By posting that statement, aren't you stereotyping White people?

A lot of people know that the Latinos are not the only illegals. Many Eastern Europeans are here illegally and have overstayed their visas.

It's because THEY are the ones burning the American flag, marching in the streets, bringing in drugs, raising the crime rate and demanding THEIR country back. There are more illegal Latinos here than any others and they are the ones drawing attention to them selves so naturally that are the ones most focused on.

No the our government has said that they are over 7 million illegals from Mexico.
Maybe that is why it is not an assumption it is a fact.

It is because they are the majority that are here illegally and they come here and cry for everything to be handed to them waving their flags in this country which is very disrespectful of this one and pollute our cities. It is hard not to generalize such a huge problem we have here.

it's because it's not their mind that speaks, it's their ignorance..

I don't know why the hell some people say that 90% of illegals are Mexican...

That is the dumbest generalization yet..

I would say that it's over 50% but never 90%...

That is because 80 to 85% are Latino. Also, Latinos keep bringing negative attention to themselves.
