What type of breed or mix breed lap dogs do you prefer or like? I am talking about tiny dogs teacup and toy sized.

Without a doubt, miniature dachshunds. They LOVE to cuddle and while they can be stubborn at times, they live to please their owner. However, most (or mine, at least), I wouldn't call lap dogs... it's more like chest or neck dogs because that's their favorite place to be. They have great dispositions and are generally very good with kids.

Big or little, a dog is a great addition to your life & can bring a person lots of joy.
If I have to pick a smaller breed....I would go with a Cairn Terrier. Had one once that was the smartest, sweetest thing. She was truly a gift from heaven & I hope that is where she is now.

I have a small long haired chihuahua that loves to be in my lap. But then I also have a Pitt who thinks he's a lap dog to.

Shih-tzus - I have two Shih-tzus and I love them! We got our first one a little over two years ago. We loved her so much that we decided a few months ago to get a second one. They are very different, but we love them both. They are great companions and bring out the sensitive side in everyone.

I love my little shih-tzu! He's so loving...he'll lay on my lap or right beside me on the couch or chair and just stare at me with those big loving puppy dog eyes! Don't 'cha just love doggies!!!

I love Yorkies and Pomeranians. However, we here at this house have a German Shepherd and a beautiful Beagle.
