Yes and yes. Also the SS was the extolled group of "supermen" with all kinds of insane rituals and dedications to evil...literally. They were notorious for offerings to the occult. Hitler and Himmler were both obssessed with this. It was a pagan form of worship based on power and fertility. There have been many books authored on the subject. It is truly horrifying to read this stuff.

They fathered technology...some absolutely brilliant like the remote controlled rockets they used to blitz England,..and, don't forget Vonard Den..the father of the atom bomb....who we got out so he could head the think tank here at Princeton..was German..we smuggled many scientists out..and even more of the worst of the Nazi scientists after the war to fight the Cold War against the Soviet Union (which really began as soon as we defeated Germany). They had mastered certain forms of robotics, they were definitely worldclass at mass murder...scientifically how to exterminate the most amount of human beings for the least amount of money provided, ofcourse, they were starved and worked almost to death first...must get total use out of them.

When you think about it,
the Nazis would have had to had some form of sick religious practice to justify the innate wickedness and barbaric sadism of even medicine and scientific achievement. Their real smarts was and always has been in the field of engineering mainly. Much of their pagan worship was based on astrological influences, timing battles, etc. If you are wondering about a Faustian kind of deal with the devil......after all, isn't that inherent in all they did?

Science definitely...the Vergeltungswaffen (Vengeance Weapons) like the V-1 flying bombs/cruise missiles and V-2 ballistic missiles, their nuke program and those jet fighters were proof of this.

As for the occult...I am not sure exactly. I remember a documentary on the Discovery Channel about the Nazis trying to get the spear which pierced Jesus in his Crucifiction, but thats the only documented event I know of Nazis dabbling in supernatural/religious stuff for their war effort.

I have heard things about a "Vril Society" that many scientists were members, but I do not know if it is true or not.
What I do know is that there were many successes by the Germans. What made them fail was lack of resources.
Rocket Technology, Jets, Medicine, Bio Weapons are just a few.

Just remember, it almost took the whole world to beat the Germans in WWII. This was primarily due to the ingenuity

Hitler became obsessed with both the occult and believing that he was the ruler of God's kingdom manifest on earth... this was evident when he to a stadium and placed 144 pillars in two rows leading to 'his' throne. These 144 pillars represented 144,000 anointed that the bible say would serve with God in heaven.
