I'd be inclined to eat the produce while it's fresh and bathe in the vinegar! There are far worse things to give you E-Coli

The problem is that the illness caused by e.coli is caused by a toxin that is produced by the bacteria. Once the toxin causes the disease "bathing in vinegar"(I assume the person, not the spinach), really won't help anything. As a pediatrician who has seen children get deathly ill from kidney disease from the e.coli toxin, my advice would be to avoid eating spinach until the government gives the "all clear"

Isopropyl alcohol works best for killing e coli. Its got to be in concentrations of 70% of better though.

Buy it from a chemical supplier, its not illegal or dangerous to have if its not exposed to an open flame. Also, wash off whatever you clean with it with distiled water because drinking Isopropyl alcohol will kill the good bacteria in your tumy.

"they" are saying "NO"...the E coli is actually IN the spinach, not on it. it is from using natural manure to grow the foods, and it may not just be spinach. they are making our lovely "organic" veggies good for you.
