Hi there again Rach...one of the most comforting experience is to snuggle with our cats at bedtime. One of my cats sleeps next to my neck while the other curls up against my stomach. It's such a great bonding experience to share the joy of sleeping next to them.

By the way, thank you for the vote for your other question you asked: " How Many Cats Do you Have?!?"

Wow. I think your job sounds REALLY terrific! I love cats alot and probably will ALWAYS have cats around. Maybe that could be one of my possibilitys for when i grow up... oh and have you ever dealt with Ocelots before? I did a project on them once and think they are amazing. And adorable I might add
My reply: ocelots are beautiful cats, but boy they can be grumpy and unruly little kitties! Wild cats are wild for an obvious reason ;-)

I dont have any cats... but when I did, they used to sleep either in the curl of my tummy when I slept on my side or they slept down by my feet. There is nothing wrong with them sleeping with you and you should appreciate that they do cos most cats are not affectionate.
How many do you have by the way?

My cat some times jumps on the bed and sleeps on my side (since when i sleep i sleep on my side and rarely move) but on the occasion he likes to sleep right in between me and my boyfriend in the bed.. he's like a child sharing the bed with us.

Oh yes, two of them will get under the covers with me - one by my side and the other between my calves. Two of the other three don't like to be covered, instead they insist on sharing my pillow with me. My fifth cat likes to sleep on the small of my back. I also have a chihuahua that sleeps under the covers with me as well. And then there's my Pitt Harley, the one in my pic, he sleeps with me as well. He doesn't get to snuggle with me though cause my cats won't let him. :-)
All the animals drive my husband insane but they are my babies!

I have 4 cats and every night it's the same thing. One sleeps on my pillow above my head, one sleeps between my legs, one sleeps at my feet and the other sleeps curled up between me and my fiance.

NOOO not anymore.. My brats like to run in and out under the bed and wake me up in the middle of the night. My husband and I used to feel bad about it for awhile, until he wasn't getting enough sleep to wake up early. Or another thing they will do is purr in our ears at 2 am, which is also VERY annoying.. Gosh..

I have one cat who sleeps on his back on the lower left corner of my bed. When a pillow is in his spot, he kicks it to the floor. If another cat is in his spot, he kicks them to the floor.
I have two body pillows I sleep with, and one cat likes to nestle in between the pillows. She never gets to where she'll get squished.
My third and last cat sleeps with me when she is manifesting one of her friendly personalities. Sometimes one of the other personalities is dominant, and she sits in the window, thinking thoughts on world domination. Other times, she is sitting on my night stand, staring at the wall, deep in the contemplation of the meaning of life. Her name is Marcie, but I should have named her Sybill or Truddi.

Actually my cat is crate trained like a dog... it's kinda funny. He got used to it when he was little and now if I leave him out at night he misbehaves durring the day. He actually likes his crate and goes to lay in it and take naps. He knows what "bed time" means and goes to his crate.
Funny... he doesn't listen to me any other time... lol
