I work with homeless people but first you need to be careful becuase you can't trust everyone. You could ask them if they need help but don't give them money, not saying it would go to beer or drugs but sometimes their homeless becuase they don't know how to budget their money so giving it to them isn't going to help. You could suggest some local shelters, places that give clothings to the homeless or some churches for them to go too.

I work with homeless people and the best thing that you could give them is to treat them like they are human beings so often our society looks down upon them and despises them they are people too and many of the people in this world today ar one paycheck away from being there too.

Don't give them money, take them with you and buy them a meal. Talk to them and hear their story. Many of them have an interesting insight on life.

Give them food and an address for them to receive help.
Also, give them a thought to ponder....."to help others".
It's not just receiving......it's also giving. Something that should be passed on from one hand to another.

I often give a gift of a piece of fruit . money would probably go for booze or drugs and I dont think they get fruit often

give them your fries from mcdonalds... they cause cancer anyways but it will make them happy
