Some people just don't realize the extent of their ignorance. The workers which have come to this country in search of a better life are taking jobs.. jobs that most people here wouldn't work! Yes, taxes and social security are withheld from their pay too, but since they are not citizens they don't have any way to collect on that.. their labor just fattens government coffers, which is why illegal immigration has been allowed to continue unchecked for so long. Now all of a sudden... 'everyone' wants them gone. Without these hard working people many of our industries will flounder. When your food prices soar higher and higher, don't you dare complain. Companies who have lost a majority of their workers are having to pay a minimum of $1/hour more to entice americans to even think about taking those jobs.

Learn the language? Its a common fact that the English language is the most difficult to learn of them all. In todays global economy, speaking only 1 language will benefit nobody. Thats why multiple languages are taught to school children in most every country. Here it's an extra.. not required. What a shame that we are so hard headed and stubborn that we won't be satisfied until we 'have our way' and make a mess of everything.

¡Qué le vaya bíen!

No one is taking money away from our schools to keep illegal immigrants (not just Mexicans) out. The funds for border security are federal. Funds for schools are almost entirely local.

That is why the feds have taken so long to act when the burden on our schools from illegal immigration is so huge.

The reason there are limits on the immigration of poor people is that even if poor people pay all the taxes they should pay, poor people pay very little taxes. The rest of us have to make up the cost of education for their children and of their health care and other services. They cost a lot more than they pay into the system. Accordingly, the more of them there are, the more funds have to be stretched for schools, health care and other programs, and the worse those services become for our own people.

Their better life is at our expense and our children are paying the biggest price - with their futures.

Do nothing but help us? You really believe they are taking the jobs that nobody else wants? Have you been to your local health dept. lately? Are the fast growing numbers of them in the school systems not taking away from the children? Are the growing number of them working for less money not bringing down what it is worth to do a jobs like construction to mechanic and any other manual labor job that a high school graduate would of moved into a decade ago. Are we not having to spend more money making everything biligaul. All the companies do add this back into the price you know. Do I need to keep on? All these highschool kids have to fight child labor laws and these illeagals to get an after school hours job also. What am i not seeing?

There is a great article that someone shared with me on the internet.

Read this...and pass it on....

"I got this in an email. It makes you think...

Let's say I break into your house:
A lady wrote the best letter in the Editorials in ages!!
It explains things better than all the baloney you hear on TV.
Recently large demonstrations have taken place across the
country protesting the fact that Congress is finally addressing the issue of illegal immigration.
Certain people are angry that the US might protect its own borders, might make it harder to sneak into this country and, once here, to stay indefinitely. Let me see if I correctly understand the thinking behind these protests.
Let's say I break into your house. Let's say that when you discover me in your house, you insist that I leave. But I say, "I've made all the beds and washed the dishes and did the laundry and swept the floors; I've done all the things you don't like to do.
I'm hard-working and honest (except for when I broke into your house).
According to the protesters, not only must you let me stay, you must add me to your family's insurance plan, educate my kids, and provide other benefits to me and to my family (my husband will do your yard work because he too is hard-working and honest, except for that breaking in part). If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs that proclaim
my right to be there. It's only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do, and i'm just trying to better myself. I'm a hard-working and honest, person, except for well, you know. And what a deal it is for me!! I live in your house, contributing only a fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing you can do about it without being accused of selfishness, prejudice and being an anti-housebreaker. Oh yeah, I want you to learn my language so you can communicate with me.
Why can't people see how ridiculous this is?! Only in America.... If you agree, pass it on (in English). Share it if you see the value of it as a good smile. If not blow it off along with your
future Social Security funds, and a lot of other things."

Well, that's just it...it costs more to have illegal aliens here than to spend the money on things like the border fence which will help prevent illegal immigration. Lots of information about it all on the web...

If we were not so busy trying to find bi-lingual teachers, patrolling the illegal students, funding health care and other well fare benefits for illegal immigrants, then maybe the schools would have more money. Did you ever look at it from that angle?
