If you have agoraphobia, you won't even leave your house, much less travel.

It's not agrophobia it's agorAphobia. Has nothing to do with the ACROPOLIS, if that's what you're hinting at. And depending on your severity of agoraphobia you might not even leave your house and/or make it to the airport since you have a fear of open spaces and large rooms.
BTW, Greece does not suck, it's wonderful. I'm going in two weeks.

I guess this is what you are talking about:
Agoraphobia is a form of anxiety disorder. Sufferers of agoraphobia do not fear crowded situations, which is a common misunderstanding of this disorder. Agoraphobia is the fear of having a panic attack in general in any place whether it be the grocer, at work or in the privacy of your own home. Social anxiety disorder is what people mean when they generally say "agoraphobia".
Treatments
Agoraphobia can be successfully treated in many cases through a very gradual process of graduated exposure therapy combined with cognitive therapy and sometimes anti-anxiety or antidepressant medications. Anti-anxiety medications include benzodiazepines such as alprozolam. Anti-depressant medications which are used to treat anxiety disorders are mainly in the SSRI (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor) class such as sertraline, paroxetine and fluoxetine.
Treatment options for agoraphobia and panic disorder are similar.
______________
So if it is only mild, I would think about any situation you could find yourself in and work out what to do about it! And by the sound of it, a trip to Greece could help you!

No not if you can face it. Its a good idea. I went and toured with an acting troupe in 2000. Athens is a bit mental but somewhere like delphi is very relaxing and healing. Book a hotel u feel safe in as base and dont try and do too much. Delphi has a nice hotel called the ATHENE which is peaceful.
funnily enough the word agoraphobia comes from the GREEK
AGOR-market place
Phobia-to repel/fear

There aren't even that many people in Greece it only has a Population of 500 people - you should go man... It'll be great. The very few people that live their are kind and caring, and perhaps you'll even get over your Agra - what do you call it - Phobia. I promise you won't get Mugged or Gang-R@ped in the public Toilets...

No.
If you ask your doctor for a plane sedative, he will give you 5 or 6 valium to help you with the plane rides.
