Does anyone know whether I have the option of changing my name during naturalization interview if I have not selected to do so when I filed the application?

If you have an attorney, ask him/her.

I know that many Europeans changed their names when the immigrated into the US in the late 1800's and early 1900's.

But today, there probably has to be a legal name change due to security purposes.

You can only do that when you take the oath of citizenship,that's when ur asked what name do you wish to go by and what all your paperwork from that day on will be written as.
