It usually depends. It depends on how much she eats, how often she throws up, and some other factors. If if she has bad bulimia, then I would guess within the next 3-4 weeks maybe.

Bulimic only show slight weight loss. What are the signs? Eating too much or Eating Too Little, then going to the bathroom very often? Self injuring? Throat is infected, swollen or so on. Does she purchase laxatives>

It really depends on how "serious" that person is. I would watch for signs of going off alone to the bathroom or elsewhere after eating, laxatives, sounds of vomiting, etc... I really hope that that person does not have bulemia.

I hate to admit it, but I used to be slightly bulemic. (However you spell it). I don't know how to phrase this, but my main idea is to spy on her. (Not really, but you get the picture). If you do manage to catch her in the act, then talk to her before others. I wish you luck, and as a religious kind of person, I will pray for the well being of your friend.

Bulemics don't usually show weight loss like anorexics.
They are usually normal body weight.
Unlike the anorexics that are 15% predicted body weight.

Depends on their body structure. The first week she might lose a few pounds, and this may not be noticable.

well when they first start,(bulimics) they tend to gain weight because they throw it up and become hungry.
after a while, though, she'll dramatically lose weight.(if this is her problem)
for right now, i would tell you to simply talk to her. don't sound like you're suspicious, because she'll prolly completely deny it.(at first, any ways)
if ur really suspicious, start walking to the bathroom with her to see if she tries to throw up, because most girls do that. if she says something like,''why r u goin to the bathroom with me? '' you kno somethings up.
i hope she gets well :)
ps tell someone if its really serious. she could waste away.
