From reading your answers, one would think the Bible was already finished being written by time the USA was created. Next thing , you'll be tring to disabuse me of notionthat Jesus was born in Bethlehem , Pa.

Good one! Questions about Jesus, or Questions designed to convert or recruit people to Jesus (or even away from Jesus for that matter)are simply a waste of time. Ditto for being "saved" or trying to clarify minute points of scripture when there are so many different interpretations and editions of text. People have already decided for the most part if they believe in the fiction written in the bible. People who feel God talks to them have psychological problems because hearing voices is a psychological illness. All the major world religions have issues like this.

Why would he do that? George Washington was a freemason. So were most of the congress at that time. Read a little history, and discover the truth.

What the hell are you talking about? You need to brush up on your history. Thomas Jefferson was the author who composed the U.S. Constitution. He presented it to the continental congress for further ratification and the end result is what you see of it today. Do some research next time.

I just hope the sarcastically challenged don't respond with their literalism with something like 'Hey, Jesus didn't give George Washington the Constitution!'. I'm cringing, waiting for their responses. Let's hope my response heads them off at the pass.
