Tiny Chihuahuas?

Question

Do you know of any breeders that have very small chihuahua's?

I don't want to hear that teacups don't exist, yadda yadda, just if you know of any breeders that have very small chihuahuas, please post. Thanks.

Depending on where you live there are quite a number of Chi rescue sites, 1 or 2 in California, 1 or 2 for the New England area. Do an internet search for Chihuahua Rescue and find one close. These special dogs need homes, foster homes and sponsors please consider this as an option.
Also there are true teacup size Chihuahuas, they usually weigh between 1-4 lbs. I adopted one-she is 5 mos and still only weighs 1-1/2 lbs and I have a 10 mo old that weighs 4lbs. and both are growing very slowly and professionals (vets and breeders) confirm that these are real teacup size Chihuahuas.
Teacup pups weigh about 1oz maybe 1-1/2oz when born and average size pups weigh about 2-3 oz when born. At weaning they should weigh - teacups under a pound and for average ones over a pound or around 12oz.
You can also check with AKC,CKC, etc and ask for breeders in your area just remember that Chihuahuas are not cheap ($150-over $1000) and the smaller they are the higher the price.

I got my adult chi here. She is an awesome lady she uses teacup in the colloquial sense because CHIHUAHUAS ARE ALL ONE BREED. Sorry to lecture but if you are not careful you can end up with a sick runt. I know because it happened to me! If you have questions you can email me.

**IF** you'd RESEARCH-read the *BREED STANDARD*- you'd find EXACTLY what a Chi SHOULD look like !!!
