Did you tell your friend that you had feelings for her? If he knew, he would probably avoid this girl so there are no awkward feelings or strain on your friendship.
If this girl is interested in another person, you should just move on.

Dude. Good luck, because that situation just SUCKS. I've been there before (but opposite sexes) and you can either wait or move on. Moving on is harder.
