You need to be more specific with the description of your symptom. You need to provide the CONDITION under which you hear this humming sound (turns, vehicle moving, braking, accelerating or coasting....) You also need to provide the closest location to where you can best pinpoint the location of this noise, in order to have this question answered with the best quality of adivce one can give. you have to be more specific....do you hear it when the car is idle or while driving. Is the sound coming from the inside of the car, from the engine area, or you can't make it out?

Silly the motor is running? A/C blower has something caught in it. How about where the noise comming from?

Are you sure its not you're tires that you are hearing? Ive had cars with annoying tires like that.
