You say baby you look good all the time. Of say well it makes your butt look nice. Or divide it into sections and different sections can make something look nice or not so nice.

You could say, "No, it doesn't make you look fat. It's just that I don't think I really like the style, or the color, whatever. I just don't think it's you." That way, she's not insulted, because you didn't insult her appearance personally. You just didn't care for the outfit. Big Difference! Now, on the other hand, this outfit really flatters you....and then you can point out something she already owns, or show her something at the mall, whatever. I think nearly all women worry about looking fat, even if they're only 110 pounds. 'Course you didn't say what you really felt either, (as in, yeah, I thought it made her look fat but....no pun intended), I didn't wanna say so..... or was it just hypothetical? Anyway, I give you credit for caring about her feelings instead of saying something totally stupid and inconsiderate like, Well, you probably did get a size too small.

If it doesn't look good on her, tell her some other dress you like better....and tell her how much you like the other one.

But the short answer is never, ever say "yes" and saying "it makes you look like a fat cow" is definitely off the list.

Do men actually want to hear, in response to the question, "Am a better lover than your ex-?" ...the reply of "no, not really"? I think not. And yet...some of you are actually silly enough to ask this question.

Ditto on the "does this dress make me look fat" question. There are just some things that are stupid to ask, and even more stupid to reply honestly to.

Say, "Do you really think that you look fat in that dress?" This way you are covered on both ends. You are telling the truth without saying it by turning it back onto her.

being a woman i will tell you up front it's a trap! no matter the answer it's not going to be the right one. wait until she's not wearing the dress she asked u about and then when you go out tell her to wear THAT one because you liked how sexy it made what ever part on her body (you pick ) look. even if it didn't , you never know you might grow to like the dress even if you hated it before.

depends how well she takes criticism... if it really looks horrible on her tell her that doesn't really flatter you.. don't just straight out call her fat...say it nicely... she may be mad at you, but she will be happy in the long run for you not letting her go out in a dress that's 2 sizes too small

IF it makes her look fat... tell her the dress is GREAT...but then say that her "so and so" dress is sexier. NEVER tell her she is fat. If she IS fat...suggest that you two go for walks and other activities...tell her you want to do it for YOUR health and for fun.

Well I would personally want your honest opinion or I wouldnt ask. But I guess if you feel that you have been caught in the "trap" then I would just say "no babe" then casually but swiftly make an exit.
