How Far do you like to on the first date?

How Far do you go after 1and a half months of going out with the same girl?

I love my boyfriend, I really do, but we had our first hug after a month of going out!
I don't want to tell him to go faster, but I'vegiven him some signals, but he doesn't understand them!

What should I do?
I don't want to rush him or anything to make him uncomfortable!

Boo,

If you wanted to go faster, you should've told me!! I was going slow, because I didn't want you to feel rushed or get uncomfortable!! I thought you wanted me to go slow! You're so hot, nice, funny, caring, and a lot of other things! I didn't want you to feel like I'm just going out with you to make-out wit you! I definetely didn't want you to feel like you had to kiss me after the first date! I don't want you to seem like you have to do things to keep going out wit me! You're too special to me and too important for me to screw up and for us not to go out anymore!! I love you being my girlfriend and I love being your boyfriend!

I Love You, Boo!

P.S: Card Shark and Ben, Leave My Girl ALONE!! Ya, never hit on another guy's girl, man!! What the hell are you thinking? JackA**!!

I would take it as a sign that he is pretty hesitant to get into a deep relationship right now. How do you think he would respond if you asked him flat out if he considered you more than a friend? That should spark a conversation that will let you talk openly about your feelings for him and that you appreciate the respect he has shown you but that you are starting to develop romantic feelings for him and are wondering if he feels the same way. It could lead to that first kiss. It has been a while since I dated, but I think on a first date, walking your date to the door and then saying good night with a quick hug or gentle touch on the arm is good. 2nd date, definitely a hug and maybe a peck on the cheek initiated by the female. 3rd date if it is going well and you are holding hands as you walk, a kiss is good. But I don't think there are any set rules for any of it. Just go with what is comfortable for both of you.

That sounds strange to me. All the guys I've ever known have always at least given hugs on the first date. I guess it's good that your boyfriend isn't rushing things, but it does seem very slow. I've only been dating my boyfriend for a month and we've done way more than just hugging.

Married 32 years now, been a long time since my first date.

Just from my personal experience, young men can be quite mindless, and a signal which any woman or a slightly older man would catch may go right over his head. You may have to signal very broadly, or just take the initiative and kiss him (or whatever).

On the first date I think a kiss should be enough. After 1 and 1/2 months, if you want sex I guess you have to come right out and ask this guy. I know you wouldn't have to ask me...

Men usually go as far as the girl will let us. Whether it's the 1st month or the 1st 5 seconds.

So this fella of yours needs to be helped along somewhat.

Boy after a month if all you have done is hugged I wouldn't exactly say you are going out. Sounds like you are just friends.
