Unless you can see both sides of a disagreement, the person who disagrees must be "ignorant"?

How do you know your inability to see the other side doesn't demonstrate your own "ignorance"?

see the light: did "we" elect you to speak for everyone?

nice to see some people have convinced themselves that they understand the divine so perfectly that god himself couldn't disagree with their beliefs ;-)

Ignorance is not marked by ability, but rather by choice. Ignorance is when you choose to ignore the possibility that another side exists.

Non-Christians collectively choose a viewpoint which most Christians find by definition to be in opposition, and although we contend that there are no or few viable components to be found in that opposition, we still acknowledge it exists.

God isn't concerning Male or woman contained in the gender way you've so elegantly communicate about on your reality. The Bible is with regard to the actual undeniable reality that their would not be any separation, contained in the former testomony their rules that higher the lads for coaching and the female had to study from their husband. The Vail contained in the temple separated them. God has a situation with male a lady roles in this existence; because he layout us to recreate and fill up the earth. each and every thing about the male bodies and woman body at the same time has each and every thing it really is needs to reproduce existence. like each and every issues the alternative is yours. in spite of the undeniable fact that, do not attempt to bend a scripture out of context to justify a incorrect. Of, direction homosexuality isn't the in basic terms sin. I under no circumstances listen any rational individual ever tell a crackhead to be at liberty and proceed employing the crack-pipe.

Well, If I say "don't put your hand in the flame! God said It is hot and will burn you." And you tell me it is not, and it would not burn you. OK, we disagree. I am going to keep my faith that the flame is hot. And I suppose until there come a time you place your hand in the flame neither of us will know for sure. And I might be ignorant which just means I lack information. But, I would rather place my trust in God than spend one millisecond in that flame.

True. However, if you can see the other side then you can make an informed disagreement.

Very good point.

It's why non-believers like myself, who were christian for years, have such an edge in these discussions.

We know exactly what the other side's response is going to be before they make it. (because we used to say the same things)

the great irony is that the next two posters below me just completely validated your point.

And then there's shadowgirl!!!
A theist who I can have an intelligent conversation with about these things because she actually DOES understand what is going on.

See, you mistake "ignorance" with "stupidity."

One means you never learned. The other means you learned & chose to ignore the teaching.

This applies to many fields, not just God vs no-god.

So, which does your inability stem from?

It's more of a one sided discussion.

I would just shake the dust off, But don`t say you weren`t warned. God has sent many, and you would not listen. Now how will you make it out of this world ,without having hell to pay?

We can see "the other side" just fine, and we do not want to be ignorants for the truth of Lord. I do not have any problem you calling me ignorant...I just do not want my Lord to think of me that way.
