i am 16 and i am 5'5 and now weigh 136 lbs...well when i was younger i under-went a stupid eating disorder, i never reseaved help or anything, but i continued with my problem for about 2 years and lost a lot of weight.
i soon got over weight obsession...but about June of this year i fell into deep deep depression, and well, developed Bilimia and that lasted about a month or two...then i got help for that (secretly, know body in my family knew about bilimia, but they did find out about annorexia) my youth pastors wife helped me with that problem.
but i cant help but fall into these stupid traps over and over again, like my eating pattern is way way way off...i go a couple days with no food nor water, and feel fine! but the weird thing is, i am not losing weight from that...it is like my body is used to starvation...will this visious cycle ever end?

you need more help than your family or friends can give..

but you do need there support and you need to see a counselor in this field to help you deal with the issues

My ideas? Try to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. Work hard, but don't over 60 minutes at a time. Do planks and other abs exercises on alternate days.

On training days, do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.

The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!

Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.

Read magazines like Shape, Womens Fitness, Fitness, etc to get tips and to stay motivated.

Good luck and stick at it. This plan has lost me 20 lbs in 12 weeks so far, just go for it!

Yes your problem will end when you start eating a healthy diet. That means eating breakfast every morning. Whole grain cereal and fruit is good. Have lunch every day. A salad and sandwich would be fine. A snack of fruit or nuts in the afternoon. Your evening meal should be veggies and a small serving of meat or beans, soup or salad. When you practice good eating habits all the bad eating habits will fall away. When you starve your self your body goes into the starvation mode and conserves calories.

every time you starved yourself, your metabolism and thyroid slowed WAY down to compensate, and over the years your body has adapted to going through "famines" this is a great survival technique that your body has learned to keep fat on your body. The only thing I know of that can help (i have struggled with weight all my life) is to reset your thyroid and metabolism using herbs and minerals. email me for more info on the ones I'm using, id be glad to help you understand how certain body systems work and how to get what we want from them. Ive been working with natural medicines for years, doctors don't understand thyroid or metabolism much at all. Anyways, email if you need a friend that has been there.

the more you don't eat the more your body will conserve fat to survive. your body thinks it may not get any food and so stores up what it can when food is eaten.
once you get on a healthy diet and your body learns that it will be fed regularly it will start to use the food eaten as energy and stop storing so much fat. it will think , hey i know i'm getting some good food tomorrow so i don't need this other crap. thus not as much fat is stored.
you need to stop skipping days of eating and drinking. if you look stuff up you will see how much damage this can do to your body. if you don't take care you could be toothless, hairless, loosing function of organs, incontinent, or dead.
now how do you think you would look better??. healthy and taking care of yourself or toothless and yellow skinned from liver failure?
please take care. and tell your parents if you need help.
good luck

getting help only once isn't gonna solve it. you need help all the time so look into getting a support group or someone who is qualified to help and can be reached anytime of the day when you feel you need it.

the cycle will only continue if you allow it . you must be strong!!! when somethiing is telling you that you are not good enough and that you need to lose weight, snap out of it, and convince yourself that you are fine
