Did you know Bush changed religions 3 times and still doesn't know what he believes? And during his college days questioned his beliefs? What if he is still doing that and you didn't know? Ever think he just played the religion card to win your vote? Would you vote for someone else who comes screaming "Praise Lord" or would you use your brain and vote for a candidate who might be an atheist but would run the Country better then ever?

There was a reason that our forefathers saw fit to give the right to religious freedom.

religion & politics do not mix.

I would never vote based upon religion or lack of it.

I vote based on the issues. Though it doesn't make much sense now that georgie jr's friends know how to rig the voting booths.

No Way would I ever vote for a Atheist to lead a country based on freedom of religion, freedom, etc. That is why we broke off from England to have freedom of worship to start with! Satan is behind the people who "claim" God does not exist; Satan is a master of lies. Look what he done to Eve at the Garden of Eden! He lied! Master Deceiver! When people stray from the Word of truth (The Bible), they are on dangerous grounds and if we were to have a leader Atheist as President; USA would like wise be more so on dangerous grounds! Think about it? Not COOL!

To be perfectly honest with you, I would not vote for a professing atheist. I really don't think you nor anybody else knows what President Bush's true feelings about religion are. I, for one, have never heard him nor seen in print where he said "Praise Lord."
Every time I vote I use my brain and my gut instincts to vote for the person I think will do best in whatever office he/she is running for. That's good enough for me, and I resent being told by anyone, including you that my intelligence and my instincts aren't as good as yours. I beg to differ.

Well, for the President to experience many different religions may be a good things as he gets to appreciate the differences, similiarities and different philosophies. I think it's good in a sense that he has the knowledge and insight of different beliefs. Who is to say one religion is right or wrong?

The religion of a political candidate is not important to me. I will vote for whomever's views most meet mine.

I vote based on the candidates' political stances on various issues. Their religions don't even enter the picture.

I would vote for an atheist if he were truly a more qualified candidate, no problem.

I can't vote for the USA President.
A good President is not measured by his religious or non religious believes.

I would vote for an atheist if I agreed with his or her politics.

Edit: Now I am extremely curious; I have been given two negative ratings for stating that my vote would go to somebody with whom I agree. What's up with that?
