I think it is fine for as long as she has no intention of moving on with her life. For instance if she married for decades and is older she may never want to remove it. But if she is a young widow, someday when she is ready she may take it off, but she will never forget those special times.

She should and can wear them for as long as she wants to. Until and if she finds someone else whom she wants to re-marry, she will of course take them off to wear her new wedding ring.

If these are the rings she was married with, she can wear them as long as she wants to. I've even known a couple of women who never remarried and wore their rings until they died. I hope this helps.

If they're the set her husband gave to her why shouldn't she wear them. Maybe it makes her feel closer to him. In her heart she might still feel married to him. When she's ready to move on she might take them off and put them away.
If she was lucky enough to find love a second time I say go for it.

My sister still does, and she's been widowed since 1994.
