Freedom, free thinking is freedom, do not believe in a religion and feel bonded to everythign it says, believe in the religion and which parts fit you best. We are all individuals, and if you arent' thinkign like one, you arent' really living.

This is a way of saying that we are free to discover ourselves, meaning that there is no cosmic puppetmaster, pulling strings.
There is no bondage, but we have the power to project and perceive that we are bound. (Perception is a wish fulfilled). This is Mind, what we call "God". Freedom is the Nature of Mind, and since Mind is all, we can do no true harm to ourselves, or to anyone. We remain as created.

Mind can cause bondage if you let it. You are not flexible to new ideas and open to suggestions. You will not change if someone shown you a better way.
Mind can give us freedom for the above reasons.
You are open to suggestions, willing to change and accept new ideas. You are a free thinker and let your mind be creative.
You are not bond by preconceived ideas.

all phenomenon is caused by manifestation of mind. All is suffering. Freedom from suffering?desire. Is within us all but fear being a root cause holds one from this journey, selfishness is it's base. All is impermanent except the mind- ever unchanging and pure. Do not seek after those things temporary but reality as it truly is, which can come from the Lord.

I think a better word would be education, case in point. Americans are educated to believe they are free, when the fact is they are controlled, they have no free will. And they live in constant fear of their government 24/7. Americans buy their freedoms one permit at time.

The mind is the cause of our worldly desires and therfore our suffering, but we must use our mind in order to destroy it, like putting a smaller thorn in your foot to pry a larger one out, then throwing the smaller one away. You must use the mind to destroy itself in order to reach nirvana.
