im pretty sure that it COULD damage your hair BUT if you comb it when its wet, its much better than brushing when its wet, my aunts a hairdresser(has been for over 20 yrs) and she always says not to brush when wet, just a WIDE toothed comb and just be careful, use a good conditioner(like pantene) so it doesnt tug at knots and then tear or break...good luck~~

Of course not. It is best to choose a brush that has rounded bristles that do not scratch your hair, like the brushes of old. It is always a good idea to brush your hair with a wide tooth comb when it is wet to remove tangles caused by washing. The wide teeth are less damaging and less stressful for your hair.

It is okay to comb wet hair with a wide tooth comb. Blow drying will eventually wreck your hair and brushes just make frizz.

When my hair was long I combed it in the shower when there was still conditioner in it. My hair is super healthy... it grows like a weed and I have enough to donate (12 inches) every two years. The worst thing you can do to your hair is things with heat...blow drying, curling, straightening. Don't do those things and your hair will be super healthy.

I have heard that your hair is a bit weaker when it's wet. Hairdressers don't spray it to make it stronger--they spray it because it's easier to get a straight cut if it's wet.

You might want to call some local hair stylists and ask them. I'm sure they could give a more accurate answer.

You can comb it with one of those tooth combs. Its better for you hair then brushing it with a normal brush. Your hair is very fragile when its wet, but i'd die if i couldn't brush it, it be so frizzy! :)

depends what brush... if you have straight hair you should use a conditioner brush(teh wide spaceing flat ones) if you have wavy/curly hair brush first with a groomer/multi bristle brush first to get the knots out then use a conditioner brush
