a couple of thing can be going on. (1) *CONTROL* his anger can be a part of keeping you in check because he knows that you don't want to upset him. ----if this the case, then don't show that it bothers you when he is upset. act like you don't care, and I bet he will have less out burst. he only have this temper because you give a damn. Nobody in the world cares that he is upset but you, so he going to get all the attention that he can. (2) *SELFISHNESS* he want to control you because it's all about him. -----if this is the case then stop catering to his selfish demands, but keep in mind (3) *INSECURITY* all this could be coming from fear. so the ? is What is afraid of?

You'll have to talk to him about his mood swings and ways to control them.
There are many solutions to solving anger;
1) Glass Of Water
2) Taking a hot bath or shower
3) Lying down on the bed with a hand over your eyes and thinking of a warm vacation in paradise.

My boyfriend of a year has a short temper but these little things seem to really help him control his frustration and anger to a limit.
Best Wishes.

What? Men aren't allowed to get angry anymore? Women can fly off the handle at anything from a toilet seat to what's for dinner, where men, if they so much as raise their voice, suddenly they have a temper problem and 911 is called! Some people can't contructively express their anger and have to let it out unevenly, like a shaken up soda you want to open and drink, but don't want fizz all over the place.
