I have seen this with my own eyes, even been part of it. I am glad you want to see this event. Soon Jesus will come back and the graves are going to burst wide open. If people of the world are not ready, believe me they don't want to see this.

Resurrection means your spirit has returned to God Eze 18:4 or Eccl 12:6-7.
No coming back to mortal life-that flesh body is gone.
Today people are embalmed. No blood-no life. They won't arise from any coffin. In olden days, some people were thought to be dead that weren't.
And a few cases of "miracles" happened.
James 5:14 says if one is sick- let elders lay hands upon and pray so that this person could be healed (faith) but nothing about raising dead. The Apostles of Christ were given special ability to heal and raise the dead in many cases.
Our covenant does not state that one has this special ability anymore-raise the dead. That is for Christ- who died that we might have everlasting life after our mortal death thru resurrection of our spirit by salvation.
Be leery of those who profess power equal to God. Avoid them is even better.

Don't mess with the dead. There are cases in the Bible where people that were dead were raised again.
I have heard of cases where people were thought to be dead, but were actually in a hypnotic trance. But I have never heard of anyone being raised from the dead after they were embalmed and put in a casket.
Be careful when it comes to things like this. I am not saying it is Satan, but remember he has many powers to deceive.

Please provide a link to a news story from a reliable source that would back up your absurd claim. There is no case that I know of where a death was confirmed by a modern doctor, in a medical setting, and someone was prayed back to life.
If there was CNN and the whole group would be all over it. If there were a "few cases" you ought to be able to find at least one reliable source on the Internet.
Reliable source: CNN, Reuters, BBC, ABC, New York Times, any scientific journal, etc.
Not reliable: any crackpot zealot that knows how to register a domain and no one ever heard of.

Although it hasn't happened since Lazzarus (his is the case you've heard of in the bible), there haven't been any cases of ressurection that are even vaguely documented. However, in the catholic faith, we sort of say that we should kinda be on pins and needles waiting for it to happen again. So yeah, you never know.
Medically speaking, people "die" (zero circulation and brain activity) and are brought back to "life" (normal functioning) by various medical procedures, defribulation being the standard.
In Haiti, it is rumored that certain "bokors", or "sorcerers" who practice black magic are able to poison victims to make them appear to be dead for several days. Typically, the person is burried, at which point the bokor digs them up and with the aid of various drugs, convinces the person that they are now a zombie totallyu controlled by the sorcerer.

I doubt it if this is true unless it is a hoax.
It is a federal law, look it up. All the blood has to be drained out of the body before it can be put in a casket or buried. They replace the blood with formaldehyde. To preserve it.
So jumping up during the funeral is hardly an option.

I have not heard anything about people being raised from the dead in the past 2000 years or so, I believe God can do anything but I don't think is chooses to work in that way. I am definately not going to say He couldn't though. I know when my Savior returns all the dead will rise from the dead, and if God chooses to make other people raise from the dead before then great. Actually, I do have a friend that was technically dead, for like thirty seconds or something. He was in the hospital and his heart stopped and the doctors revived him. I am so glad God chose to save him. I don't know if that counts, but that's all I know.

Serious answer - Dead means dead. If someone sits up in their coffin, they weren't dead. With modern methods, no one "comes back" once their blood is replaced with formaldehyde anyway. Personally I wouldn't believe someone has truly come back from the dead until they have been dead for at least a week and then come back.

Miracles like that ended with the Apostles. If someone got up out of his casket as someone on here said don't you think that CNN and the rest of the media would be all over it? The purpose for miracles is finished now that we have the Bible.
